“Just wear the dress”
“Whose attention are you trying to get?”
“You're fake looking with so much makeup on”
“Grow-up and put on some mascara”
When we living in a generation filled with plastic surgery and Insta-filters, it's hard to tell what’s real and what’s fake. Especially as a kid. Absorbed in the culture, we eventually grow up thinking, “So I can do whatever I want, but I just have to make it look perfect?”.
And the world soundlessly answers, “Yes.”
The only real solution is to perfect our pretending until it drives us insane. We go in circles of unreasonable logic, until we’re dizzy with simply going through the motions of life. And so, what is the real answer? What should we actually do?
Figure out our goals. Our aims.
