Will Read: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

I broke the book code. I watched Netfilx’s “All the Light We Cannot See” before even attempting to read the first page of Doerr’s masterpiece. I should be arrested and banned from classic literacy, but instead I am graciously about to begin the book.

From my Pilates instructor to BookTok raves, for over year I have heard countless amazed reviews of the alleged “life-changing” book. As a historical loving girlie, ESPICALLY World War II, I believe it is my lawful duty to absolutely destroy and to be destroyed by it.

The book is set in the end of World War II in Saint Malo, France where a blind teen girl named Marie is being bombed while operating an illegal radio in her house. The perspective bounces back and forth between her and a German soldier named Werner, giving the book an angle to fully capture the story. Join me on this new journey and buy the book to read it with me!
